Bruges

My husband and I have just got back from a long weekend (without child) in Bruges. Its probably the best place to rest as it is sooo quiet and sleepy. Every corner you turn, there are sights more beautiful than the last and the food and beer of course was great. The best meal we ate was spaghetti bolognese which seems to be their version of pub grub( the Venetian traders lived in Bruges when it was the richest city in Europe). Sad/happy to be back home now. My Christopher Raeburn jacket was the look du jour of the trip as we expected it to rain the entire time. Instead we had sunshine and what a treat.
