Im not vain or anything

I pose in the mirror without the camera so what is the difference? If only I could find a way to show my feet. I am barefoot anyways. Today I went to yoga and met with a friend. Top, some old leopard thing on top of American Apparel leotard, Cheap Monday jeans and belt snatched from my moms closet...Thanks mom!

Sunday Girl

Spent the weekend house hunting in St Albans. The second house here was actually one that we had a viewing for. I loved it, Barney hated it but eventually I came round to thinking that maybe a house built in the early 17th century isn't very practical?! Fortunately we did find one that we could both live in...Watch this space. 

Olympiad

So excited about the Olympics this week. What a great thing it is to live in the city where the games are held! We have the Dutch camp up the road from us and the atmosphere is already electric. We saw the torch go by last night... On Tuesday we have tickets the women's relay finals. Go USA; come on England!!!

Packing is so much fun! I am off to Devon for the weekend with friends and Family. For those of you who are not in England, Devon is beautiful countryside south west of London next to the beach. Some of the best things about Devon is... pub lunches, long walks, cream teas, and lots of time eating, drinking, laughing and playing games with friends over the big wooden table in the cottage where we always stay. I like to pack my sturdy boots and some skinny jeans, a few ts and a big cosy jumper. Hope to bring back some pictures...if my friends dont make fun of me for trying to strike a pose!

Curb side

Loving my new shoes...not loving the fact that my legs are totally  glowing white. Trying to look summery but not feeling it as we have had soooo much rain with no sign of it stopping. Bought this Theyskens Theory dress in Orange County but have only had a change to wear it a couple times this summer, such a shame. Maybe some self tanner will make things better! Have a lovely weekend.

Going to the sales late does sometimes pay off for more daring pieces that might get overlooked. These are Robert Clergie for Carven and they are gonna go with soooo much.

During the summer, my products are pared down and I like to use things that feel light on my skin. These are my star products of the moment. I have talked about my Tom Ford foundation before but really, the colour is perfect and the texture is somewhere between a tinted moisturizer and a full coverage foundation. I also use the Laura Mercier powder Universal which is perfect for creating that soft glow. Two new additions to my routine are the Trish McEvoy concealer and luminizer which can be used under the eye or as a highlighter.  For scent I am pretty changeable but Mitsouko by Guerlain is a favorite, such a smokey oriental scent that it really gives that hint of mystery..and a good hair oil is pretty much standard for styling and conditioning in the summer months. This one is by Kerastase. Last, my favorite Chantecaille brow pencil which is great for definition and blends in naturally. What are your favorite products?

Ankle strappy

 I bought these shoes in  beige too and haven't regretted it. I get so much wear out of my Swedish Hasbeens x H&M from last year. H&M collaborations usually pass me by as I don't have the patience to wait in cues and crowd surf with hundreds of frantic shoppers. However, the clogs were in the store for ages... I do love a clog. Worn here with Topshop denim and my Stella t shirt. Just so excited that the sun is shining and I have the day off with my little cutie.
